sandymom 16 Posted August 22, 2014 Have just begun using my fitness Pal and a flex fit, but my fitness pal keeps telling me I am not eating enough calories! I am getting my Protein and Water. Are others getting this reply?
attractivenuisance 4 Posted August 22, 2014 Have just begun using my fitness Pal and a flex fit, but my fitness pal keeps telling me I am not eating enough calories! I am getting my Protein and Water. Are others getting this reply? You need to log in from a computer not a ipad etc and go to the website and go to advanced settings. You can change your calorie amount and everything there.
kpay10 95 Posted August 22, 2014 Yes, but I just ignore it! It's not designed specifically for WLS patients.
Bufflehead 6,358 Posted August 22, 2014 Yeah there is no way to get rid of that stupid message about eating under 1200 calories and going into starvation mode. I just ignore it. Sorry MFP, I am going to take the medical advice of my surgeon, physician, bariatric nurse practitioner, and registered dietician -- not alarmist claptrap from a bunch of computer programmers who have never even seen my medical records or met me! Forsythia 882 Posted August 22, 2014 If you don't click on the finish logging for the day button, you won't get the message. It will still log all your food, but you just won't see the message.
sandymom 16 Posted August 23, 2014 Thanks, everyone, for your info. I really appreciate it!
maxcimax 220 Posted August 24, 2014 I ignore the message. I only use the MFP to look up food items & log them. This helps me to choose foods low in carbs & calories. I use my cell phone app for this & it does what I need. I then transfer the info to my DietMinder to keep track of food, Water & exercise.
