es fatBgone 15 Posted November 18, 2014 Hi sleevers ! Regarding going back to work - I waited 3 weeks and now 6 weeks out - I am still not at the energy levels that I hoped. I am a school teacher. I think it really depends on your job, your age, your intake of calories etc. and your general health. I was a major couch potato. Now I'm walking and taking dance lessons (cha cha cha!) so I thought that would up my energy but it really hasn't. Regarding calories - I have had no problem with eating since day 1 and average about 500-800 calories a day with about 60-90 grams of Protein. All in all I do feel good - and just take naps in the afternoon when I'm really tired. I am getting about 8-10 (sometimes 12!) hours of sleep. I decided I would let my body tell me what to do and not stress about it.
es fatBgone 15 Posted November 18, 2014 To My Fitness Pall subscribers - I didn't realize we could add people to view our accounts. My logon is estipo if anyone is interested. I didn't keep up with it until the last 3 weeks or so (I'm 6 weeks out). Unlike others who have posted - my issue is that I am almost always hungry and can eat anything !! Nutritionist and Nurse said that everyone is different - I have a very forgiving sleeve. I am worried though because I can eat up to 800 calories a day - but I am still losing (although slowly). trvlgrl 50 Posted November 18, 2014 @@FATBGONE - I'm the same way! I still have hunger and my sleeve let's me eat almost anything! I'm losing slowly but I think that's a good thing. I have a really hard time remembering to get my Protein in. I get busy and just drink some flavored water to shut up my tummy from growling. I've got to start doing better. I can definitely tell the difference with my weight loss when I get all my protein in. As for going back to work, I went back to work 10 days after my surgery. I felt really good. I work a desk job from home so that made all the difference. Plus I just think I'm a fast healer and bounce back fairly quickly.
