I need to up my protein and I also need to up my fluid intake. She told me if I have any question to give her a call it's great to have the one on one help. stephh 634 Posted October 21, 2014 Okay just got my times...I have to be at the hospital tomorrow morning at 7:30 am and surgery should be between 9:30 and 10. I am sooooo nervous. I'm worried that since my BMI is over 50 I will have complications.... I've had many surgeries and have never been this nervous. Amazingly though, the one person in my life that I thought would be the least supportive has stepped up and has been amazing. I hate to ask but I have 2 requests...can I get some words of encouragement and maybe a funny one liner for a smile. Sorry that I'm rambling...nerves. You will be fine! I was TERRIFED too! I cried the whole time at the hospital before my surgery. My mom's BMI was over 50 when she had her sleeve. She will be two years out in December. Make sure you let us know how you are doing. Not sure if you are the praying type, but I will say one for you anyway. What do you call cheese that isn't yours? Nacho cheese! Yes, just went there =)

rmspencer 79 Posted October 21, 2014 @@Vsglady You're going to do great! Don't be afraid to ask for pain meds. They're definitely worth having in the hospital. They'll make you float like a cloud! Enjoy it
Kathy812 794 Posted October 21, 2014 @@Vsglady good luck tomorrow sweetie! Stay positive & glad you found additional support. We all need it. One thing I did wrong was waited too late to ask for pain meds. If you feel the the pain coming on, like my nurse said...get ahead if it before it gets too bad. PRESS THAT NURSE BUTTON! Will pray for you, Unfortunately, I have no jokes but looks like you got a few good ones from our sleeve sisters, they made me lol too. I so love our group. Unfortunately the night I was in the hospital my dog fractured his femur and had surgery the next day. He has kept me on my toes????
