Forsythia 882 Posted August 20, 2014 I use myfitnesspal. You can scan the barcode and it will pull in the exact information. You can also do my fitness pal online. MFP is free and for both android and iphones. Once you have an item in your personal database, it will come up in your frequent or recent choices so you can add it again the next day super easily. wendiffer 10 Posted October 5, 2014 I also use Myfitnesspal. It's super easy to use, and if you have a fitbit, you can sync it up and it can grab your steps. I haven't been able to find the Protein on the phone app, but on the website, it tracks your protein for you too, as well as your sugar, calories, fat, etc.
imsoglad56 402 Posted October 5, 2014 I tried myfitnesspal because so many folks like it, but it just doesn't do it for me. I tried several others that were recommended in my nutrition classes, but in the end I found one I like better than any of them. It's Daily Burn Tracker. I use the the free version and love it. On the phone app, it clearly displays the calories, fat, carbs, and Protein for the day as you add the foods you've eaten. It also has the bar code scanner and I've only found one food so far that the scanner didn't recognize.
