Taylor06 9 Posted August 20, 2014 Hi all, I am almost 1 year out from my surgery date (I have lost 121 total pre-op and post op). I am going on vacation in 58 days (but who's counting) and I would like to lose another 15 pounds in that time. I don't think I can do it because I am losing much slower now. I do exercise 3-6 times a week (pretty intense workouts). I am wondering if anyone has any tips or suggestions to help me get try to get to my goal before vacation. It's not my final goal I just want to be under 200 by the time I go on vacation. I thought I would be at my true goal now which is about another 55 pounds from where I am now. So I still have weight to lose, just very slow. Any thoughts? Thanks!

jess9395 5,449 Posted August 21, 2014 I was just gonna say the same--5:2 or some modified version. Basically it's intermittent fasting. Five days normal eating and then two of a modified fast. When you have the fast days you want to eat as early as possible for the last meal the day before and then as late as possible for the first meal on the fast day. Keep your eating window as short as possible on the fast day. Going back to basics works well too. Try going back to Protein shakes for a day or two a week. marfar7 1,533 Posted August 23, 2014 I'm in the same situation. It's been a year and I'm now 15 lbs from gal (was 9 lbs a few months ago but I gained some weight). The first 100 lbs was easy peasy compared to the last 15. Good luck to u and have fun on vacation!
