Worried of gaining weight. Help!

TraciL, you and I feel the same way. Always hungry, no hiccups, no sign that the band is even there. Believe it or not, my lunch today consist of mashed potato and turkey meatballs. I'm full but if you think about it, this is not the kind of food anyone should be having after 3 weeks of surgery. Yes, I think we will all gain weight until we get the fill.

I am trying to stay away from the scale, I will only weigh once a week, every sunday morning.

Rebecca Brooks, did your surgeon say why they wait til 6 weeks after surgery? Is that because of the healing period that is needed?

I am just wondering how surgeon explains this

I'm not sure. I'm guessing it's the healing period. I have The Realize Band. I've lost 12 pounds and my surgery was two weeks ago so I'm still going down though. But he said 6 weeks to 6 months. Just hoping I don't have to wait that long for a fill!!
