lifer 39 Posted August 20, 2014 I had my surgery right before my 60th birthday. Ten pounds a month is perfect. I think we are much better off losing it at this rate. In my opinion, it really helps let your skin keep up with the loss. I don't have hardly any excess skin;). What I said to myself before surgery: "I can't do anything about getting old but I CAN do something about being old and fat ! " Best of luck to you all!
