Blending protein drinks causing too much air?

Hi all! I am 7 days post op and just made my first Protein Shake in my blender (I have previously just used my shaker cup) and I'm worried it adds too much air and bubbles to the drink? I don't want to give myself anymore gas and bloating. Any thoughts are appreciated.

I used to blend mine and let it sit in the refrigerator for a while (and then spoon stir if needed). That'll give the air time to escape.

I use an immersion (stick) blender for mine - it doesn't add any air. I tried using a regular blender at first and there was just too much froth and foam. Letting the shake rest for a couple of hours in the fridge after making it did help somewhat, but I prefer my immersion blender.

I did end up letting mine sit in the fridge after a few drinks but I am definitely going to try the immersion blender! Thanks :)
