mebal 0 Posted July 3, 2016 @@itsgonnabegreat I've attended two of the support group sessions so far, had to miss the June meeting. Planning to make it this month. The group isn't quite what I imagined it would be, but I've learned at least one thing each time, and they say those who attend have a better rate of success long term. I figure 90 minutes a month isn't too much to ask for. @@mebal I've never been much of a gym person. I stuck to "gentle walking" for the first eight weeks per the clinic's direction. At this point I'm walking whenever I can (the goal being at least once a day), swimming as often as my schedule allows, and dancing around the house, part for exercise but more for fun! looking_forward 6 Posted July 4, 2016 @mebal. The meetings are at St Joes, West 5th Campus, but you aren't allowed to attend until you have a surgery date (or are post-op). If there's anything you want to talk about while pre-op feel free to ask and I'll do my best to answer. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
