Vic R 5 Posted August 17, 2014 None have troubles after eating then feeling too full and needing to throw up? I've had it now several times this last week. Mostly with rich foods. Something's just done like going down and staying down, Any advice is appreciated.
Beth Pets 36 Posted August 17, 2014 I don't want to sound snarky but....maybe stay away from rich foods. At least for the time being, you may need to stick to a simpler diet. I hope you feel better soon.
Vic R 5 Posted August 17, 2014 I don't think it's Snarky to suggest that. In Fact you may be very right. I've been eating more food rich in good fats but nevertheless, oily. I wonder if eating too fast makes this happen too. It can be a challenge to sit with a plate of food in front of you when in a restaurant setting with people as I try not to be so slow or obvious. moonlitestarbrite 902 Posted August 17, 2014 measure your food first, dont eat more than 1/2 cup at a time. eat slowly. chew well. space out your bites. dont drink with food. eat only things you can tolerate. rich foods at 9 weeks post op isnt a good idea. your stomach is still healing. Beth Pets 36 Posted August 17, 2014 Next time you go out to eat with friends, prepare yourself with scintillating conversation and interesting news and stories. I am not kidding. My Dad is a raconteur and he misses half his meal because he is entertaining everyone else while we are stuffing our faces. There are other things to do at a dinner party than just eat (you realize that I am telling myself this as well). You may end up being the best looking, healthiest and most fascinating person in your social group.
