Boppin' Bubbe 32 Posted September 13, 2014 Sorry Boppin....fingers slipped. I'm a young 68 year old who is 9 weeks post-op and so happy I made this life changing decision. I am able to walk 2 miles each day with out the severe knee pain I have experienced for many years. I am also off my high blood pressure meds all together. Since my surgery day I am down 49 pounds and had loss an additional 12 pounds since my initial visit. Whilemy weekly loss now is averaging 3pounds, its still heading in the right direction. I had very little discomfort or pain. Overall it went very smoothly. Please keep me posted on your jouy, and good luck! I know you will do well. I will post Monday after I see the MD! Fingers crossed, lungs open!

StabMyFinger 19 Posted September 14, 2014 So glad there is someone else who is around my age. I will be 66 in October and hoping for a November date. I will have my 6 mnths of supervised visits done around the 5 of Nov, and have all my other visits done. This will be a band removal and a RNY done at the same time. I am so glad to hear from others.
