Cindy, remember that Karma will take care of her in the end. It's horrible what people are willing to do for the almighty dollar. Scary huh?

As for everyone asking about me and Abi. Abi is schedualed for surgery on her nose on the 5th. All of her tests came back within normal range for the clotting issue so she is safe to have surgery. We spent the day at the zoo today, I am sooo tired, she walked my butt off. I really need to start walking more to prepare for Disney. As for me...I am still waiting for the surgeons office to call me back. They were supposed to call and set something up for me. They were also going to call my insurance to make sure I would be covered for surgery. I am starting to wonder if this is the surgeon that I want to use. It's been over a week and I have heard absolutly nothing from them. It's hard to be in pain and not hear any news. Also, she is totally unwilling to do the hystorectomy, if there is endometriosis she is going to clean it out and see what happens. If/when it comes back then she will consider a hysto. She also refuses to do any kind of permanent sterilization, but she is going to do a hydro thermal ablation. If I get pregnant after that proceedure I will be considered extremly high risk, for me and for the baby. That makes a ton of sense huh? I will check back in tomorrow. I am going to do some calling around and see what I can find out. ~Mandy

Good Morning Y'all!

TGIF! I am so ready for this week to be over with.

Cindy - Sorry about the estate, it's really sad what some people do. You know you can make kind of a list of the things she took that you know of, and those things should have a value put on them. Then, you can make her subtract the value of the items from her share she gets. You might have to protest the will to do it if she gets nasty. But, things should be done right and I am a true believer of that~ Don't that make you mad when you lose a post? I know one time I hit the return button before I hit the post button and it lost everything, now I am a little more careful of what one I hit first.

Mandy - That's good news on Abi! I would definately get a second opinion before I had the surgery, but I do know that now they recommend not having the hystorectomy unless it is absolutely necessary.

Kat - I think you are smart not getting a fill until all the stress is eliminated from your life, (well the one with DH) I don't know how you would eliminate stress from your life all together, at least I can't! But, the band sure works in mysterous ways and stress makes it go wild.

Sherry - Hope you are enjoying some free time alone! I always enjoy a few days, then I'm ready for the old man to come back home! Relax a little while he's gone!

Patty - Glad you got the boys back and you are doing so good!

Well, I can't remember what anyone else said right now, so going to finish my Breakfast and go to work.

Catch y'all later!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
