Jammil0411 17 Posted August 13, 2014 My surgeon's office called me and said insurance approved my sleeve surgery. I have to go to their office tomorrow to pick up the Protein Shakes and start taking them for 2 weeks. My surgery will be on August 28, 2014. Yahoo! I have waited over two years for this. Jammil0411 17 Posted August 14, 2014 It really depends on whether insurance knows you are seeking WLS. My insurance Co. knew I was searching WLS because they had already denied it in January because of the doctor I chose. He was on their plan last year. That's why I chose the insurance.
