make sure you get the plain yogurt. the fruit and even vanilla have a lot of sugar in them. I bought the Smuckers sugar free preserved and put that in the yogurt. good flavor, little calories and no sugar.

From day 1 I have been eating dannon light and fit greek. Its 80 calories and there are alot of non fruit flavors. It was recommended to stay away from the fruit types for the first few months.

I would mix in some flavored Protein Powder or Torani SF Syrup - or both! On purees I was also allowed to stir in a spoonful of Peanut Butter or almond butter and that was really good. I don't know if that sort of thing is allowed on your plan though. I wasn't allowed yogurt on full liquids so it was a little different for me in terms of what I could add to yogurt when I was allowed to eat it!

O, I can have Greek yogurt on my full liquid stage. What do ya'll put in it for some taste

I use unsweetened cocoa powder. It has no sugar and adds a bit more Protein in also. No artificial ingredients too which is nice.

I use Protein powders and Torani SF syrups to flavor my Fage or Chobani Greek yogurt. I've also used puréed peaches and mangos. Garden of Life Vanilla powder and pumpkin pie Syrup are my current favorites.

I add a few drops of Vanilla infused Stevia to my NF plain greek yogurt and some raw fruit (you will work up to the fruit). Yum!

Thank you for sharing this idea!! I have never liked plain yogurt! But I need it due to a yeast infection from the antibiotics at surgery time! I am 1 week and 1 day out of surgery! Thank you so very much!!

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
