sweetjonesie 5 Posted August 10, 2014 I'm 9 days banded and have been on creamed Soups, Protein Shakes and liquids. But today I have been HUNGRY all day. I'm not trying to cheat but I have to admit I made some mashed potatoes. Is this normal? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
2muchfun 8,927 Posted August 11, 2014 Making mashed potatoes or being hungry? You won't feel satiety until your band is adjusted and that could be 1 fill or 10. Until then it's just another diet. Be careful with eating foods not on your list. Your band is sutured into place and eating solids or any food that needs digestion can cause the sutures to tear away. bulawookie 116 Posted August 11, 2014 stick to foods on your list and aim for that feeling of satiety and then stop eating. You should not be hungry again for 4 hours and then make good food choices again, 4 hours later.....make more good food choices. That is how I got off the weight I have gotten off so far. It is not easy yet. My band is not in the green zone but I am limiting the amount of food I eat. I hardly drink wine but it is my treat every week or so. It helps me relax. You are doing fine.
