lblaske 7 Posted August 9, 2014 I had my sleeve done on July 28th and had my first check up this past Wednesday and I am down 17 lbs. I am on the purée and blended stage now. Every time I am getting something I am getting pain in my stomach and than it feels like it's stuck. Please tell me that this temporary and it will go away. I am getting so discouraged and also nervous. 1 SD Kelly reacted to this
SD Kelly 17 Posted August 9, 2014 I hope so because I am also feeling these same symptoms. I also had my sleeve done on July 28th. I use my nutri ninja to blend my food and I seem to tolerate that pretty well. It is when the food is not blended well or food is chunky or thick I have the stomach pain and feel sick. 1 lblaske reacted to this
Pkdvm 175 Posted August 9, 2014 Maybe it's a July 28th thing(my date too). I've found that I really need to make my meals very thin consistency and eat very slowly or I get stomach spasms and pain in my left shoulder. It's hard, because I'm hungry- not ravenous, but hungry. Protein Shakes go down okay, and Water no longer tastes metallic to me. All in all, everyday gets a little better. Hang in there! 1 SD Kelly reacted to this
EvEisMySleeve 3 Posted August 9, 2014 I also had severe issues with this. My md changed my Prilosec to two times daily which has improved things very much!
