AggieGal08 9 Posted August 8, 2014 Know this May sound silly but I can't wait to be 8 or 10 months out from surgery. I'm only 2 months out and I feel like time is dragging by, I just want to fast forward and see what my final product will be. I'm 2 month out of surgery today and down 42lbs which is great anD I am very pleased with but my motivation has really gotten stuck. How do you stay motivated? Guess I should start taking measurements or something so I can better see or measure the results. 1 ProudGrammy reacted to this
dsdesigna 143 Posted August 8, 2014 It's important to take this time, which will move quickly but only feels slow, to learn new coping skills and consider what your life might be like thin. Life will forever change, some things will be much better but there will be others that are not so great. Mostly there will be tons of change and that takes some getting used to. 2 VSGAnn2014 and ProudGrammy reacted to this
Cathrn 7 Posted August 8, 2014 I'm just a couple of weeks behind you, AggieGal08, and I know what you mean. I'm trying to concentrate on other changes in my life...like being more active and having new experiences. Maybe get new hobbies so not only will I have a great new body but mentally and emotionally I'll be so much better too.
