NewLife4Me7 110 Posted August 4, 2014 It's four days since my GB surgery and I'm feeling great! I just can't wait to take these white tight stockings. I'm walking and drinking what I'm suppose too. Wednesday I will see my surgeon for my one week post check up. How weight does anyone lose During the first two weeks? 1 carolk36 reacted to this
Auntie rose 22 Posted August 4, 2014 During pre op diet (5 days) I lost ten pounds, from surgery to first week I lost 14, and second week I lost one pound... I'm three weeks out today and lost right more. It's weird because I stay the same for several days and then drop a lot in one day. I'm just focusing on getting in my Water and Protein and moving as much as possible. I'm only allowed to walk and it's been way too hot to walk outside so in just trying to keep busy inside. Sounds like you are doing fantastic! I didn't feel half as good for the first week! Welcome to the losers bench
AllisonKara 46 Posted August 4, 2014 Congratulations!!!!!You feeling so great after the surgery is a very positive sign. The answer for your question changes from patients to patient. But the main factors which affect weight loss most are diet, exercise and your overall commitment to changing old habits. On an average 60% of the excess weight is lost with weight loss surgery, over a period of time. Therefore things need to be taken slowly, so concentrate on healing from your surgery and then think about the weight loss. Chelly 364 Posted August 4, 2014 That's great that you are feeling good. Each person looses weight differently. You will loose the weight according to how you work at the plan that the surgeon and nutritionist gave you. Follow their instructions and you will be very successful. You are healing and it takes awhile to heal internally from this surgery so pace yourself according to what you are instructed by your surgeon. The best to you.
