If not, the basics are, I'm 36, I'm finishing nursing school in the Spring (May '15!) and will immediately start my Nurse Practitioner (God willing). I'm married (10 years in November) and have 2 gorgeous kiddos-- a 7 year old girl and a little boy who will be 5 in September. I've battled my weight my whole life, I thought, but looking back at pics from high school, apparently that was in my head. LOL It got real when I was in my 20s. I coached competitive gymnastics from the time I was 16 until I was 34. Then I walked away from that world (looooong story!) and into nursing. I'm super happy to meet everyone and would LOVE to get to know y'all for the support.

Thanks for sharing Melissa! Happy your here and doing so well now. I'm just 12 days out from being banded. Hearing all the different experiences is really helpful.
