matt1912 316 Posted August 3, 2014 Dear Sleeve, As you know, I am a professional tennis player. I need calories to run. Please allow me to finish one softly cooked egg and some oatmeal for Breakfast. Yes, I know how much you hate breakfast. I would appreciate it a lot. Thanks, Matt #bariatriclife #justoneegg 3 fezik23, docbree and haleytrim reacted to this
ualaw08 270 Posted August 3, 2014 There are no breakfast foods that I can tolerate. I eat yogurt and blueberries every morning. Breakfast foods used to be my favorite....
LisaNLasVegas 91 Posted August 3, 2014 What happens when you "can't tolerate" a food? With my band, that meant throwing up. I didn't think throwing up was as much of an issue with the sleeve - what happens? Thanks!
Miss Mac 6,262 Posted August 3, 2014 I eat an egg every day for breakfast, sometimes with bacon, sometimes with steak, less often with ham or sausage. Or I will eat a 1/3 cup of omelet with a dribble of cheese, and onion, pepper, mushrooms, avocado, and a bite of fresh Tomato. It may have a few calories, but I eat it in the morning and have the rest of the day to adjust my food choices. Haven't tried oatmeal since I have a strong issue of stalling when my carbs go over 20 per day. 1 gourmetone reacted to this
mi75 1,235 Posted August 3, 2014 for me it's either a Protein shake and milk OR some leftovers from dinner. i have found that adding cheese to just about anything makes it go down easy and sit well. too bad i LOVE cheese. but it's such a tiny amount... the other day i had a TBSP of leftover sloppy joe with a little bit of shredded cheddar melted on it and one nacho chip crumbled on top. VERY tasty and filling.

macman 603 Posted August 7, 2014 Six day a week I drink a Protein Shake, some combination of Unjury Protein and milk. On the seventh day it is usually scrambled eggs or an omelet. Sometimes I have eggs for dinner, no problem getting them down
