Jparadeis 1 Posted August 3, 2014 How much of something does it usually take to figure out you should not eat something? I am getting ready to start the puréed stage, and am nervous. 1 Trisha39 reacted to this
Teachamy 1,042 Posted August 3, 2014 Don't be nervous. You won't be able to eat much, and if you stick to the usual suggestions, cottage cheese, yogurt, cream Soups, you'll be fine. You won't have a tummy explosion. Don't worry. 1 swimbikerun reacted to this
music1618 879 Posted August 3, 2014 It the beginning usually a few bites let's you know it was a bad idea. This is the best time to get to know your pouch! Learn her likes and dislikes and how she operates. Also just because she does not like something today in a few months it might be different. 1 swimbikerun reacted to this
BeagleLover 1,020 Posted August 3, 2014 My NUT suggests trying new foods one at a time--- a "thimbleful" to see how it goes! 1 swimbikerun reacted to this
McButterpants 2,846 Posted August 3, 2014 I introduced one food at a time - just a couple of bites. If I had a bad reaction, I would wait a couple of weeks to try it again. I'm 8.5 months out and still have foods that don't agree with me. I tried cherries for the first time since surgery yesterday - OMG, it was excruciating pain!
