Timothy Gibson 2 Posted August 2, 2014 Looking for help with the pre op menu I just started my two week yesterday and I am not really sure what is allowed and what is not. Please help thanks
VSGAnn2014 12,992 Posted August 2, 2014 Timothy, surgeons' instructions vary considerably about what is permitted on the pre-op diet and the length of the pre-op diet. You shouldn't be distracted by what "everyone else" is eating. What do your surgeon's written instructions say you should (and shouldn't) eat during this time? Timothy Gibson 2 Posted August 2, 2014 My doctor only requires a one week diet. So I will not have his official diet until next week. I have chosen to do a two week to help prepare my self. Thanks for the menu I was doing shakes and drinks during the day and one salad at night with Protein.
onmyway15 4 Posted August 4, 2014 My surgeon requires a two week pre op diet of 3 Protein shakes a day (80 grams daily) and a under 300 calorie meal. I just use the Weight Watchers frozen meals to make it easier.
