Buoy 1 Posted August 1, 2014 I had my VSG on 7/28, and cannot get rid of this headache :-( I've been doing my best to get Protein and Fluid in. Do you suppose it's dehydration or malnutrition? 1 pacorvalan reacted to this
Wynnie 186 Posted August 2, 2014 I had a banging headache for the first 2 weeks or so. I think in my case it was due to to few calories and my body learning to pull energy from itself and not eaten food and also ketosis (sp) it will pass just keep up the fluids and portion shakes

mi75 1,235 Posted August 2, 2014 could be remaining side effects of anesthesia, dehydration, or your body hitting the brakes from the shock of surgery/lack of calories. i was sleeved 6/23 and whenever i wake up with a headache i track my liquids the day before and am ALWAYS short, like this morning...try your hardest right now to get your fluids, which is most important this soon after surgery. also report to your surgeon so they can check blood pressure, blood sugar, etc. good luck!
