My doctor advised no swimming or immersion (hot tub, bath, etc) until the drain incision heals.

I was told no pool, hot tub, river, lake, bath, etc. until after 6 weeks check up. Too many germs, etc.

That precaution holds for any type of incision.

Nope. Definitely not. Your incisions haven't healed completely. And hot tubs bread infections as it is due to the hot temps.

I was told not to get into any bath, pool, hot tub or anything that you would be submerged in until all incisions are healed. It took 10 weeks for my main incision to heal completely. I'm going to start going to my daughter's house & swim in her pool. We have a pool at our apt. complex but who knows what's in the Water will all the kids swimming in there.
