Water retension after surgery

How long before you loose excess fluids, I have gained 15 lbs from Water weight. Trying to take in as much liquid as possible with out it coming back up

All those fluids should work their way out of you over the next few days or so. Just keep drinking your Water and taking as many walks as possible.

I was still up 11 pounds one week after surgery. The next week when I weighed I was down a pound or two. I was glad to be so well hydrated.
