n0ble199 35 Posted August 1, 2014 Had my sleeve done 2 days ago and I am sore everywhere head to toe. I can barely eat a spoonful without being stuffed to the point of pain. Please tell me this is normal for 2 days out?
babish 19 Posted August 1, 2014 Yes... Very normal. And you are probably going to regret your decision to have the surgery before you start feeling better. The first month was horrible for me but once you get through it... And you will... You'll be fine. Good things are ahead for you. Good luck!!! 3 1959JimmyJames, onmyway15 and wdama reacted to this
1959JimmyJames 61 Posted August 1, 2014 Some people will have an easy time with this and some won't. I was really miserable for the first 5 days, and I didn't do too much activity for the first month. I was feeling pretty good by the start of the 2nd week though. The pain was horrible for me too on the 2nd day. I just kept drinking the pain reliever to keep me knocked out and I sipped on Water as much as possible. Otter pops helped a lot. Just having the flavored ice in my mouth for taste and coolness was good. You do need to remember to move around and don't let the pain keep you in bed. Blood clots are something to be afraid of at this stage.
