mandablaire 0 Posted July 30, 2014 Hi everyone. I'm so disappointed in myself. I feel that my body just hates me and loves being fat. I KNOW I'm not getting the proper amount of Protein. And I can't seem to shed any more weight. I've been at a dead standstill for weeks now. I'm discouraged. I thought I would be much thinner by now. SW: 254 CW: 219 GW: 165 No need to be disappointed, just work the plan & get back to basics. Log what you are eating and figure out what the Protein (at least 60 grams), carbs, fat and calories are and see if you are in range.
mandablaire 0 Posted July 30, 2014 How many carbs/fat grams should we be having at this point?
thesuse2000 698 Posted July 30, 2014 I wasn't given goals for carbs and fat, but I try for keeping fat below 25% of total calories and carbs below 35% - meaning Protein should always be the highest percentage, which means eating Protein and veggies for lunch and dinner for the most part - with maybe the tiniest bit of a starchy carb. Usually low fat cottage cheese or an egg with veggies for Breakfast. This stuff is hard - I ate a little rice yesterday, and ended up going back and taking/eating a bunch more. Kind of freaked me out and I realized I really just need to stay away from carbs like that - they trigger me for sure. You can get yourself on track I'm sure. DarbiMolly 188 Posted July 30, 2014 I am supposed to have 70 grams Protein, 15% fat, 40% carbs. drink lots of fluids and get in you Protein. Protein shakes count as fluids. Protein is the key.
