dylanmiles23 2,198 Posted July 30, 2014 I know there are people out there from MA. Just wanted to start thread here to consolidate our discussions. I'm from Sterling and getting sleeved at UMass in Worcester on Sept 4th. Hi. I am from Randolph a little south of Boston. I have had the band for 2 years and love it. I feel all WLS help people and each person chooses what is best for them. Good luck! I had my surgery at the BI in Boston. Arlene

dylanmiles23 2,198 Posted August 4, 2014 I'm from south of Boston, and looking forward to scheduling an RNY at BID around the end of August, if all goes well! Good luck. I had my band at BI, Boston but now see my doctor at the Milton-BI. He goes to both. I used Dr. Schneider. Who is doing your surgery? I found the WLS center wonderful and all the staff is great and my stay overnight was good. Arlene 1 amazon reacted to this
UrsulasShadow 59 Posted August 4, 2014 Hi Arlene! I think I'll be using Dr. Schneider as well, for my RNY. I'm waiting for the team meeting now, and we'll see what happens after that. I hope it moves quickly. I'd like to be done and healed before the holidays. 2 amazon and dylanmiles23 reacted to this

jesabuck30 16 Posted August 7, 2014 I am from W.Fitchburg and had RNY at Emerson on 4/8/2014 with Dr Lautz! down 77 lbs and no regrets
ke-sa 10 Posted August 7, 2014 @@leapyear i work closer to the Emerson hospital in Concord which made it was easier to manage appointments. Also I had tried to get surgery at Umass from 2007-2012 and it never worked out, the number of appointments and cost made it extremely difficult. At the time my insurance would have made it impossible to afford.
