Cio 3 Posted July 29, 2014 Today has been a month since I got sleeved. I have lost 19 lbs. I know everyone is different but I feel discouraged because it has only been 19 lbs. I guess that I was expecting more... I've been stalled for 2 weeks now. Is this that I am going through normal??? I need some motivation.... 1 Mary Cade reacted to this
rriggins 19 Posted July 29, 2014 I was feeling the same just a few days ago try switching your routine or increase your walking that may help
Thinkbruce 56 Posted July 29, 2014 Good advice riggins - also, what are you eating, are you drinking calories, are you tracking your food /water(or drink) intake, - this is the number one BEST way to be sure your remain on track - also do you drink alcohol - obviously all of these thing will vary your results - at the end of the day it's still about burning more than you consume... Lots of luck - keep your chin up, be active, make every bite count & be true to yourself ! - you can do this ! 1 Denise73 reacted to this
cvrobinson 4 Posted July 29, 2014 Hi Cio. I feel the same way. I'm learning that each day is a new day, and that we are all heading in the right direction. I'm just happy to know that I'm not the only person out there feeling the same thing.
fezik23 240 Posted July 29, 2014 I'm joining the club. Minimal weight lost after surgery. Logic tells me I will lose eventually, considering how little I'm eating, how much Water I'm drinking, and how much time spent walking. But it's hard when I read about the major losses of others. I seriously considered staying off these forums because I sometimes find it more discouraging than helpful.

hrhlaurie 185 Posted July 29, 2014 I'm a slow loser too and whenever I stay the same weight for a few days I think, well, that's it, I'm done losing. I'm only 2 months out from surgery and have lost 34 pounds since surgery date, not including weight lost during pre-op diet. Logic says I will keep losing, I just have to change things up a bit and be patient. I already look and feel better so the only thing that could make me feel bad are numbers on a scale. Keep trying and Celebrate all your victories along the way. 1 Denise73 reacted to this
rriggins 19 Posted July 29, 2014 What I learned from just being on here a short time is u can't base your situation off others everyone is different...I found myself doing that until I realized I'm not where I want to be but I'm also not where I was..besides I'd rather loose gradually to me it looks better 1 Denise73 reacted to this

jgj 29 Posted July 29, 2014 Hi I too am in the slow loser club. I have only lost 16 lbs since surgery but 33 including the pre surgery diet. I am worried to start the next phase but guess I have to eventually. Keep on working everyone. It is a journey and we are all on it.

Cio 3 Posted July 30, 2014 Thanks for the encouraging words guys! It really helps to see that I am not the only one. I will continue thinking positive, hopefully I will start losing more weight soon. One thing is that without the sleeve I would've never lost the 19 lbs, that is for sure!
