Hi Everyone, so I'm new to this site. I've been banded since July 16th. I'm still on thick liquids, but have been testing out the waters. Grapes are a no-no, unless I smoothie them. But I do like strawberry-banana smoothies made at home. On Wednesday, I start soft-foods, not sure what those are, but I'll give it a go.

Soft food for me were refried Beans, deli turkey meats, mashed potatoes, oatmeal, well cooked vegetables, Soups, ground beef, Pasta, soft casseroles and soft canned fruits.

      The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

        Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
