DimandGirl 23 Posted July 26, 2014 Had gastric bypass on the 22nd of July (so I'm 3 days post op). I have no clue what to eat. I know I'm on the liquid diet, but I'm DEFINITELY not eating enough. I feel dizzy tonight. I had 2 SF jellos yesterday and 2 today. What did y'all eat days 2-7?

I normally well my mom makes it for the whole day so we blended also add a banana and a bit of Water if it's to thick. I love it!! joatsaint 2,814 Posted July 26, 2014 I was so nausiated that the only thing I could tolerate was Crystal Light and GRAPE! sugar free popsicles. I had some clear chicken broth in the house, but never drank it. So it was towards the end of the 2nd week before I started eating anything. 1 BeagleLover reacted to this

lovingdavid 119 Posted July 26, 2014 Dimandgirl yes let's hope it's much easier, one thing I tried was the sugar free Jello and couldn't have it because it was super sweet for me..
DimandGirl 23 Posted July 26, 2014 @@lovingdavid aren't you starting the blended/puréed stage very soon?!
knitlil09 91 Posted July 26, 2014 You may or may not be allowed Protein Shakes at this point. Every doctor is different. I was on Clear Liquids only the first week. Of course you're weak, tired, and dizzy right now. You just had surgery. It will get better. I did not have a single thing other than Water and Jello week 1 aka no calories and I'm fine. 1 ForeverFat? reacted to this

lovingdavid 119 Posted July 26, 2014 Knit yes I have to agree with you that all doctors are different because I started Protein Shakes at the hospital the day after my surgery. I did not like the vanilla flavor was good with chocolate
