crystaleffexx 18 Posted July 23, 2014 Omg I am so frustrated I was banded 12-12-13 and I only down 6lbs from surgery date!! Please tell me someone out there experienced this.
cheryl2586 3,053 Posted July 23, 2014 I think you need to put more information out there. What are you eating? Have you had any fills. There is no way if you are doing everything right that you should not be losing weight. 1 Debbie3sons reacted to this
Leepers 1,195 Posted July 23, 2014 Yes, more info is needed. How many fills have you had? How have you changed your eating habits? Exercise? 1 Debbie3sons reacted to this
Sharpie 3,306 Posted July 23, 2014 absolutely agree with Cheryl. If you are doing even 80% of what you are supposed to, you will lose weight. I lost over 60 lbs and have not been on a diet .. I eat the amounts my band tells me and I stay away from slider foods such as ice cream and chips and crap. If you need to track your food, go to MyFitnessPal.com it will give you a good guide. perhaps you need a fill or maybe you need to go back to square one and meet with your nutritionists. Hope you get it solved because weight loss surgery in itself is not the answer . 3 catlover602, Debbie3sons and labwalker reacted to this
Sharpie 3,306 Posted July 23, 2014 I think it would also be helpful to fill in our profile info so we can know where you started and how long you have had your band... it's difficult for any of us to answer you honestly without all the information. 1 Debbie3sons reacted to this
2muchfun 8,927 Posted July 25, 2014 Crystal, it's considered rude to post a topic and ask for help and then not acknowledge the people who are trying to support you? 1 Debbie3sons reacted to this
SIJoe 111 Posted July 26, 2014 2muchfun - I totally agree if a person just ignores the comments, but maybe she has computer problems, or something came up that makes it difficult for her to respond? All kinds of stuff can happen. So maybe she's not rude after all.

Sharpie 3,306 Posted July 27, 2014 I don't think she has ever had a lapband. people sometimes come on here to fake a problem just to see what people will say. It is rude. 1 2muchfun reacted to this

Bandarella 223 Posted August 11, 2014 @@crystaleffexx Hope you're getting notifications of responses to your question. Might need to check out your settings. Failure to lose or lack of satiety can be due to your band being too loose, eating around the band (sliders like Cookies, chips, ice cream) or misplace meant of your band. Are you following an eating plan provided by your doctor or nutritionist? Have you received follow up care from your surgeons team? Are you logging your foods and beverages and getting some exercise daily? Hope you respond soon...I saw you posted your concerns on another post the day after this post. Hope you're ok!
