Crystal76 11 Posted July 23, 2014 My surgery was June 16th & I had a really rough time. So when I went for my 1st fill on the 14th the doc said we were just gonna take baby steps & only put in a cc, which they had already removed a cc a few wks before bc of all the trouble I was having. My problem is I'm eating to much now & I've gained a few pounds & I'm freaking out! I didn't pay this much money to gain weight!! My next appt is not until August 19th. Should I try to go sooner b4 I pack on 20lbs?!?!

Colleen C 169 Posted July 24, 2014 It is odd how different doctors are. I had surgery on June 20 and no fill yet at all.
B-52 7,113 Posted July 24, 2014 (edited) I had my first fill of 4cc's 4 weeks after surgery.....was scheduled to come back 4 weeks after that....in between those appointments, after my first fill, I GAINED weight.... I showed up at the next appointment, discouraged and frustrated....my Dr. LAUGHED at me....said I didn't "Get It", but I will eventually...he then explained the whole process to me, Green Zone, etc, and what his treatment plan was to get me there....so he gave me a 2nd fill....and all that happened then was I maintained my weight...did not gain, nor loose..... The 3rd fill is the one that did the trick...sent me for a loop...it took me a while to adjust to it. I wanted to go back and get the fill removed but my Dr. talked me out of it....he knew it was me that was the problem, not a tight band....and he was right! ksc1965 52 Posted July 25, 2014 Your thread could have been typed by me 3 months ago. I promise you that it will get better. If you want to PM me I can give you a few tips but will tell you it's mainly just a head trip for a while. No fun but you will be ok. You did not waste your money. 1 MarieMarie reacted to this
