pizza helped me get into this mess. So, the opposite must be true to help get me out of it. I take a deep smell or two of it and FORGET IT.

Update, I have eaten pizza since my OP and haven't had any issues. Haven't had much food adversions at all except for sushi but I may have just eaten too much in that case.

hi, i made a pizza out of cauliflower!! if you put the cauliflower in a blender it turns into "Rice" then you add an egg and sesoning make it into a pizza shape, then cook for 10 mins until it goes golden brown, put light mozzarella and tomatoe sauce on it and what even toppings you like (go lightly) and then bake for another 5-7 mins. you will have a really low fat pizza with out the heavy dough. i cant eat the dough or any bread and so i made this and even my kids liked it. try it, you never know if might take away the craving!!

I'd be more concerned about continuing to want pizza than being able to eat pizza.< /p>

I love that I no longer desire pizza and hope that never stops. Pizza is one of reasons I needed WLS.

The key is moderation.

Yes you should be able too. What helps me with pizza is the thin n crispy slices. It is a lot easier on my stomach then the thicker crust pizza.< /p>

I have made pizza out of eggplant and it was delightful! No frying. It's Julia Child's recipe including the sauce. I found it on Pintrist but I'm sure one could simple Google it.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
