50lbstogo 10 Posted July 22, 2014 Today I am 3 weeks out and have started my soft stage. I have had 2 20oz Protein Shakes with low fat milk. Then I have had 1/4 cottage cheese twice, 1oz tuna with mayo, 2 sugar free Popsicles, and 1/4 applesauce, and 1 wedge laughing cow cheese,. After 3 weeks of like nothing, this seems like overload. Is it?
jess9395 5,449 Posted July 22, 2014 Are you logging that into a tracker? It should give you a good idea as to whether that is the right amount. Did your Dr. give you guidelines to follow? 1 BeagleLover reacted to this
Jersrose43 837 Posted July 22, 2014 I think this matches my soft foods intake at the beginning and then I stopped Protein Shakes and upped the ounces 1 BeagleLover reacted to this
joatsaint 2,814 Posted July 22, 2014 Every doctor has different diet guidelines for his post-op patients. The most important thing to look at is are you staying below your recommended calories per day. And are you matching your percentages of Protein and carbs to the guidelines? 1 BeagleLover reacted to this
