nelady 10 Posted July 21, 2014 Well, the has finally come that I have both dreaded & welcomed. My surgery is tomorrow, the 22nd and I am a nervous wreck!! I want this, but am so afraid of all the complications that could arise. I keep thinking this should be easy since this is the second go around for me, but the sleeve wasn't as drastic and the RNY. I've seen so many success stories on here and I know the support is fantastic, but I am still apprehensive. I just hope I can keep it together at the hospital tomorrow and not break down. Thank goodness the hubby will be their to hold my hand. Okay, guess I will see everyone on the other side! 1 oweemytoe reacted to this
April206 128 Posted July 21, 2014 Good luck to you tomorrow. You might write down what you're looking forward to after surgery (being able to jog or run, shopping in the "regular" section of clothes stores, physical activity with family and friends). It sure helped me be less scared of my upcoming procedure.

SURE I WAS SORE FOR A WEEK OR SO , BUT I WAS ONLY OUT OF WORK ABOUT 9-DAYS ( I HAVE A DESK JOB) AND I RETURNED BACK . BUT I KEPE MOVING AT WORK. I DID EXACTLY WHAT THE DOCTOR SAID. THE HARD THING FOR ME WAS ME TRYING TO DRINK THE PROTEIN-- I WAS FORCING MYSELF BUT IT WASNT HAPPENING LIKE I SHOULD--BUT YOU JUST KEEP GOING--GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!
