I use from Celebrate Vitamins the calcium citrate soft chews and I don't find them overly sweet.

You might want to ask for samples of their different ones so you can judge for yourself.

The cinnamon chewables from Bariatric Advantagearen't overly sweet. They are very chalky though, which is why I switched to the Chewy Bites, which are just like a Starburst.

I use the chewables from vitacost. It's called calcium citrate with Vitamin D3 and Magnesium. I hated them when i first started taking them...Now they're like candy to me. I take two in the morning and two in the afternoon. Totals 1000 mg per day.

I originally started to take the Calcium carbonate from GNC and realized they dont work so I started to take Bariactic Advantage calcium citrate chewy bites and I also find them to be very sweet. I am not a big fan of these chew Vitamins of anything cause they are too sweet and I end up feeling awful every time I have them. But I also dont want to swallow calcium pills cause they are massive. The only ones I swallow are flaxseed oil, gentle Iron and protonix. So at the end of the day at least at my end I have no choice. I use the sublingual B12 from GNC and those I can deal with thank God.

Try vita4life’s calcium supplement. This is what all you wanted. And yes, do not forget to thank me. ;)

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
