CarmenP 52 Posted July 21, 2014 Ugh, I'm so nervous and yet so excited! I am just afraid of all the potential "issues" - complications, food/water not sitting well/coming up, the pain etc... And sometimes I freak out that this will be no different than when I lost 50 pounds (I need to lose about 120) on my own, and stalled out. So worried, so scared, and at the same time SO HOPING for a quick recovery and major success! Well, wish me luck!! 1 tigerlily14 reacted to this

revision in TX 38 Posted July 21, 2014 Best wishes on this journey!!! You will be fine...just relax, follow the guidelines and you'll be seeing pounds and inches coming off...and you will feel so good, physically and emotionally. The first couple of weeks are hardest, then a few months of full healing, then you should steadily lose, for as long as you need to reach your goal weight(s). Recommend setting small goals....set yourself up for success from the beginning!!! Keep us posted on your progress!!

SugarFreeMe 293 Posted July 21, 2014 You're going to do fine. Worrying won't do any good, being positive is key. Stay on program with your food, keep drinking your fluids and walking and the weight will do what it's supposed to do - go away. Best wishes - see you on the losers bench. CarmenP 52 Posted July 23, 2014 Had surgery 7/21. Yesterday was HORRIBLE. Sore, very bloated and gassy, walked a lot but couldn't get rid of the gas. Tried yesterday to move to Clear Liquids, was so nauseous I almost threw up. Needed nausea meds, went back to just ice chips. Finally feel better today, but doc wants to keep me another night because of all of yesterday's issues. I was so looking forward to going home and being able to sleep. You simply cannot rest at the hospital. Still pretty tender, but coming along. Finally am tolerating liquids/broth. Just ready to get out of here. 1 SugarFreeMe reacted to this
