clownbaby 3 Posted July 19, 2014 I have been having pain in the left side of my abdomen (the opposite side of my port) that feels like a pulled muscle but 10 times more painful. It hurts when I stand, walk, bend, sit and breathe. I have noticed it hurts more on days I work bc I am moving around more. I also have been feeling nauseous. For the last 2 weeks. I can eat fine and haven't had any heartburn. I plan on calling my surgeon first thing on Monday but I was just wondering if anyone on here has experienced similar pain? terrydumont46 1,954 Posted July 20, 2014 i am sorry, i can't offer advice you haven't filled out your profile yet . llike when was surgery? usually the most common complaint when a band has slipped is reflux. any pain associated with a slipped band comes from spasms in your esophagus when the food starts to back up. if you just had surgery it could be gas from surgery. a heating pad will help. but the best thing you are doing is calling your doctor. he will answer all your questions and order whatever tests need to be order. until than take some Tylenol and use the heating pad. 2muchfun 8,927 Posted July 20, 2014 If it gets real bad, you should visit an ER? You could have so many different dangerous medical problems. Kidney stones, appendicitis just to name two.
