Whathereagain 3 Posted July 18, 2014 I was sleeved June 27 and have had 3 vomiting episodes in the past 2 weeks. Just ate a little too much, not more than 2 ozs but the tummy rejected it. I had a Lapband for years, very successful until it slipped and I think my body is just used to expelling food when the restriction is too tight. Maybe....I dunno.... Anyway, now I a, scared to death the vomiting caused a leak! How will I know? Every thing thus far is fine. I made sure to go back on full liquids the next day after I vomited and I haven't had any pain or discomfort. Just scared. To. Death. Ay advice? Words of wisdom?? Eclectic 0 Posted July 19, 2014 IDK, I vomited a LOT right after the surgery and I haven't had any symptoms of a leak. I thought the symptoms were shortness of breath and racing heart beat... but I could be wrong.
PrettyGal27 30 Posted July 19, 2014 From what I've been told, symptoms of a leak include really bad stomach pain, nausea and fever. If you're really scared about this, you should call your surgeon and have him do another swallow test on you. 1 BeagleLover reacted to this
