QueenA 122 Posted July 18, 2014 I work as a consultant and it seems I will need to travel for my next gig. It will most likely be the standard Monday through Thursday for anyone that works in the consulting world and am curious to know how many of you are in the same boat and how you have coped while being on the road. At this point, I have no restrictions on food but have been eating mostly homemade food. Would like to know what your experiences have been and if any of you are on myfitnesspal, would like to see what your typical days look like. Thanks in advance for any info. JeanZ_RN 378 Posted July 18, 2014 Quest bars - they're delicious, each one is a full meal, they don't require refrigeration and they're so portable. I order them online directly from www.QuestNutrition.com, but you can get them at GNC stores. The difference between those two is that I find the ones purchased at GNC are somewhat stale, and the ones from Quest are fresh every time. When eating out just order Protein, with healthy sides. Eat the Protein first. 1 QueenA reacted to this

mi75 1,235 Posted July 18, 2014 i generally always call ahead to the hotel when i travel to get a menu e-mailed or faxed to me so i can pre-plan (this was before sleeve, more due to dietary issues). also find out about local restaurants, there are bound to be some little diners or Soup places or deli's where you could still get some good options. have fun! 1 QueenA reacted to this
