NewLife4Me7 110 Posted July 17, 2014 Sweet - sounds like this surgery was the best thing for you. You will not have most of the health issues you have Now. I'm sure you will feel a lot better as time goes on. That's wonderful your making progress. The best of luck to you.
Ginger Snaps 1,323 Posted July 17, 2014 I understand the "just let me eat some food" feeling... Be patient, it will come. And, I think if you push it too early it actually slows down being able to tolerate food instead of speeding it up. Just focus on what you can eat this week and then next week focus on what you can eat that week and soon enough, you'll be back on food again. I'm 5 weeks out and am really enjoying again! Best wishes
healthyme1963 136 Posted July 17, 2014 Congrats! You're doing great! I had surgery mid-March and am down over 70 pounds. I have fibromyalgia, degenerative disc disease in my neck and spine and chronic arthritis in almost every joint in my body. As soon as the weight started coming off, I noticed my joint pain diminishing. Granted, I still have a lot of pain from the fibromyalgia that no amount of weight loss will help, but I feel so much better every day. No more high blood pressure. You're going to do great and feel so much better each and every day as you lose the weight. Keep us posted on your progress.
