Hey Everyone!!

I was sleeved June 24th. I'm in a stall as well and read every where how common they are. I can tell I'm loosing inches though. My clothes are rally loose, lost 20lbs quickly now loosing slowly. Thankfully I have this I help me feel better. I'm way less panicky because of your posts!

I hate exercise, always have and am struggling To get structured exercise in. I'm on my feet a lot being a teacher and am working on getting a buddy to work out with. Any suggestions or helpful tips are welcome?!

I also tire easily, yet I have way more energy thank I did prior to surgery which I love. Also get hungry every couple of hours. Also heard that this will pass with solid foods but hey I'm just gonna listen to my body and eat a healthy choice when I'm hungry. I am aware I should not graze.

Thanks for reading!

Hannah

I'm just like you! :)

I also had my surgery on June 24th and have stalled this week. I've been worried that I'm eating too much (around 700-1000 calories). My doctor told me last week that I could progress to soft foods as long as I'm remembering to chew everything to an applesauce-like consistency. I think that once different foods were introduced back into my diet that it opened me up to hunger again, unfortunately. I'm trying not too snack too much and I'm working on drinking more Water and getting more Protein in. Today I actually got close to 70g's of Protein (which is pretty good for me) and I forced myself to drink more than normal and I can say that as of right now, I'm not feeling as hungry as I've been lately. Also, if I do need to snack (like at night when my sweet tooth kicks in!), watermelon or Outshine no sugar added popsicles are pretty great.

The only exercise that I've been doing is walking for a half hour everyday around my neighborhood. A nurse told me (before my surgery when I complained that my feet hurt way too much to even think about going for a walk) that often it's the shoes that hurt more than being overweight. I invested in a good pair of walking shoes and I can actually say that my feet don't hurt when I walk anymore and each day I try to go farther and farther.

Anyway, just wanted to share with you a few things that I've tried that seem to help since we're in the same boat! Good luck!

Also June 24.

Struggling with Water intake but food am ok.

Head hunger is atrocious. But I am real hunger too.

I try to eat every 2-3 hours so I don't get ravenous.

I feel great except for acid.

On soft foods. So a lot of meats and not having issues with them for the most part.

I am still only able to do 500 or so calories a day though

Haven't lost anything in a week or so

Lost 11 pounds since surgery and 26 total to date with pre op

Thank you! I'm like how you mentioned to invest in good shoes! That makes me think I should buy some new cute work out gear, that usually get me in the spirit of things. It's comforting to know in not the only one. Thank you!

I hear you with the water intake. I used to be able to drink a lot more and I think my tastes have changed too. From the sounds of it stalls are part of it and will soon be a distant memory. Sounds like you're doing well. Pepcid AC Elle's with my acid reflux post op.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
