I was sleeved on June 23rd. I'm doing well drinking liquids. When I go walking or try to workout I immediately get exhausted. My energy levels just bottom out. Does anyone else have this issue and how are you dealing with it? I'm getting very frustrated.

June 24 and yes am feeling same.

NUT said not enough Protein.

I try to walk daily or use staionary bike. Each for 20 minutes I really can't handle more than that

I am just trying to get more rest and sleep but practically impossible since evry little noise wakes me up.

Went back to work today and even more exhausted

I was extremely exhausted the first few weeks...lack of calories=lack of energy. At 4 weeks post surgery I was more energetic. At 6 weeks I felt normal. At 8 weeks I felt better than I had in years...I'm currently 12 weeks out & am so happy with my surgery...that first month was harder for me to recover from than my c-sections...it will get better!!!

BABY STEPS!

First step: Get your Protein (60g-80g or more) per day. Get your 64oz of fluids in.

If you feel you absolutely must work out, do it for 10-15 minutes a day right in the morning. Honestly though, I can't really work out that much right now because I'm focusing on the first step still. That part is tiring enough, lol. My doc and psych said not to beat yourself up about it, it was a major surgery. So I'll just keep on doing what I'm doing.

In conclusion, more protein=more energy.

Keep in mind, your body takes 3-4 weeks to metabolize and process the anesthetics used to put you to sleep for the surgery. Fatigue is a common side effect and as the above posters mention, just continue with the fluids and Protein. Patience is a must so stay determined and back the work-outs down temporarily while your body continues to heal. Good luck and welcome to the loser's bench!

I started getting weekly B12, 6,1 shots and that helped me also when I started working out I would drink one zero cal power aid . And a ISO pro but the first day I started the gym I thought I was going to die . I also sit in a sauna for about 49 min when I get home I take a nap ..

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
