latido 178 Posted July 14, 2014 I can't bring myself to by the white water....ick. Is this such a BAD place to 'cheat' on? I weigh and measure everything and am super careful with everything I take in.
Chelly 364 Posted July 14, 2014 Try only 1% milk if you can get it since you don't want to try skim. I'd talk to your nutritionist if about this being okay. Take care.
LilBoo007 491 Posted July 14, 2014 As I have a hard time getting in all my calories and can often loose weight very easily now, my surgeon and nutritionist told me to drink 2% milk and whole fat things like sour cream, mayo an real butter for the extra calories... But I am past my goal weight of 130.. I am down to 110lbs. And have a hard time keeping the weight up.
RNBSN786 206 Posted July 15, 2014 I think it's best to give up milk completely. I have and I don't miss it at all. I have soy milk time to time. Less sugar, high in Protein and easier to digest. Try it out!
winning_by_losing 107 Posted July 17, 2014 Milk isn't in my program, so I miss it greatly. But as Chelly said, maybe a good middle-ground would be to try 1%. After growing up a skim milk drinker, I moved to 1% for a while just because it was almost half the cost of skim or 2% and it was WAY too thick for me to handle at first. After a while I got somewhat used to it, but ended up switching back to skim eventually. To me it definitely seemed much closer to 2% than to skim, so may be worth a shot.
