Sharp pain below the rib on yhe left side

Im wondering if anyone else has had this problem. I am nearly 6 weeks post op and for the last week I've been having sharp pain below the rib on the left side.

Every now and again I will get one but it doesn't last very long. My surgeon says that he stitched my abdominal wall on my left side and that the stitch would pop and then the pain would subside. Have you talked to your surgeon?
