You have done great, congratulations!!

I am 2.5 years out. My favorite Breakfast is an egg beaters omelette or scramble. I usually sautee veggies (frozen bell peppers, onions, broccoli etc), slice low calorie high Protein sausage up in the sautee. Then I whip the egg beaters with a bit of Water or milk and pour over the sautee. Turn heat down, put on cover and cook. If you stir it you get a scramble. Instead I put a bit of cheese on top and finish it under the broiler without stirring. It kinda puffs up and looks pretty. I usually eat half for Breakfast and the rest for lunch but now that my son is home he likes it too so no leftovers. It's low carb and low calorie. The key is the sausage, I buy a healthy one at costco...and it adds the main Protein to this.

Oooo, that Breakfast scramble sounds delish! I, too, usually have a premier Protein shake for breakfast because it gets in my Protein and liquid early on. When I am ready to venture out of that, I am definitely trying that!

Since I take breakfast and lunch to work my latest favorite has been greek yogurt with either oat meal or bran mixed into it. Its low cal and very filling. Using bran and Dannon yogurt the Protein is 17 grams at about 160 cals. You could also add fruit to the mix. My other go to is 2 eggs micro waved with a wedge of laughing cow flavored cheese top with salsa. About 14 grams of protein and about 200 calories. Its very filling. You could also add veggies. Since I use the microwave spinach, tomatoes and onions would work well.

I'm nowhere close (2 weeks out) to being ready for this but I've got these bookmarked for future use. The first one definitely looks like someting you could prepare the night before.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
