are they like cramps? I get those feelings on my left side right after I drink a shake. I take my gas and acid meds and feel better.

I've got the same thing going on..at first I thought it was spasms from fixing the hernia but I'm also thinking now it's the stomach with it being inflammation. ..my surgeon said it would eventually go away an told me to take liquid ibuprofen with my other meds..mine feel like a heart attack when I put something in stomach. .it hurts like the dickens! I've started the Protein Shakes tday..I just got home last night..hope u get feeling Better soon...

It could be gas. Try chewable Gas X and walk around the house. If you're lying in bed shift and turn to get the gas out. Don't forget to walk every two hours, it helps with the gas as well as help prevent blood clots. I still get my walking in. I am almost two weeks post op and I still walk around my house. Today I walked around over two hours. Good luck and I hope you feel better.
