lolies 2 Posted July 11, 2014 Please someone help am give days from surgery and I get a sharp pain in my stomach that travels to my chest and spreads there, it's just for 3 seconds or so, has anyone experiences anything similar am a little worried and scared!! I've got the same thing going on..at first I thought it was spasms from fixing the hernia but I'm also thinking now it's the stomach with it being inflammation. ..my surgeon said it would eventually go away an told me to take liquid ibuprofen with my other meds..mine feel like a heart attack when I put something in stomach. .it hurts like the dickens! lolies 2 Posted July 11, 2014 Thank you girls for the reply and yeah mine it's after I drink or when am laying down at night it's hard for me to sleep I notice that if I get up and walk it makes me feel a little better I don't see my Dr until next week so am hoping this is only gas!! Denise73 89 Posted July 12, 2014 It could be gas. Try chewable Gas X and walk around the house. If you're lying in bed shift and turn to get the gas out. Don't forget to walk every two hours, it helps with the gas as well as help prevent blood clots. I still get my walking in. I am almost two weeks post op and I still walk around my house.
