messagetosiobhan 17 Posted July 11, 2014 Hi, I'm day 10 post lap band surgery. I was told to take off my dressings today which I have done. However, I have steri-strips over each of the wounds. I'm sure I remember in my post anaesthetic state the surgeon saying he used dissolvable sutures! Do you think I should try taking the steri-strips off as well or leave them on until they fall off? I left them be and by this morning they have all come off by showering etc! 4 out of the 5 wounds look amazing but the one which I'm guessing the port is in and they put the band through is a bit bigger and very bruised! Feeling so great today! So glad I have made this decision and I'm at the end of the recovery part now at nearly 3 weeks post op. Managing very small portions but 3 times per day and drinking as much as I can tolerate! Band fill is due on the 6th august!! X Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
